A BIG WELCOME TO YOU!

Hello Fellow Snow Lions!

On the behalf of the Snow Lion staff and Naropa University at large I want to welcome you! We've been preparing for your arrival all summer and we're excited to begin building community together!

If you aren't already able to access the internet at Snow Lion we have a guest login until you get your Student ID numbers and passwords at Orientation this week. You may have already found this information posted throughout the building, but just in case, and for redundancy's sake, I will post it below.

First thing you may want to know is our very first community meeting of the year is this Friday the 20th! It runs from 5-7pm in your very own courtyard. Yes, there will be food.

In whatever fashion is suitable to you (planner, post-it, google calendar, scrap, elephant) make note of the community meetings for the rest of the semester! They will all be held in the Student Center in the bottom of the Student Administrative building.

Also, we have a Snow Lion Council (SLC) this year for anyone interested in participating. If you want to be heard and you want to take part in affecting change in your community, please come make it happen. The SLC will meet in the Student Center as well on the following dates this semester:

Be sure to come watch, participate, and comingle at the Orientation Chai House: Open Mic on Friday in the Student Center post-Community Meeting! If you want to participate be sure to e-mail Jenevieve with your Name, Type of Performance, & Title by 3pm Friday at jvieve@naropa.edu (must be under 3 minutes).

To close, I hope everyone's settling in just fine and I'd like to invite anyone who's interested to a potluck at my place this next Saturday at 6pm. I'm in room #311 and look forward to getting to know you all over the course of the year!
